City of Johannesburg aerobics programme makes its latest stop in Ivory Park

The City of Johannesburg’s Region A sport and recreation department continues to build momentum with its healthy lifestyle aerobics campaign, with Ivory Park becoming the latest stop.

Ivory Park residents came out in numbers this weekend to stretch, sweat, and embrace healthier lifestyles as the City of Johannesburg’s Region A sport and recreation department brought its popular healthy lifestyle aerobics programme back to the community.

The energetic session, on May 16 at Lord Khanyile Hall, saw residents of different ages participate in group exercises, dance routines, and fitness activities aimed at promoting wellness and encouraging active living within local communities.

The aerobics initiative forms part of the city’s ongoing campaign to encourage healthier lifestyles across Region A, while also creating safe and enjoyable recreational spaces for residents to socialise and stay active.

Following successful sessions hosted in other communities, the programme continues to gain momentum, with organisers praising the growing turnout and community support.
