50 double tickets to Aces vs Tuks game up for grabs!

Mpumalanga News and Absa are giving away 50 double tickets to the game, to win simply enter the competition.

Mpumalanga Black Aces will be looking to collect their first maximum points at home when they take on the Pretoria based, Tuks FC on Saturday night at the Mbombela stadium.

It hasn’t been a smooth sailing for the home team since they have lost all their opening home games and will be hoping to turn the fortunes this Saturday.

Just like they started the past season, Aces found themselves trailing from the bottom of the log, but the team’s spokesperson, Gordon Masondo believes that Aces will bounce back with a bang.

“It’s still early days, really, to start writing the team off. I believe we will bounce back and I can assure you and all our supporters that the best is still yet to come,” said Masondo.

“We haven’t made use of our home advantage like we should have, but I can assure you, we are going to start collecting points from this Saturday.

It’s not going to be easy, because we are playing against a very good side and they are unpredictable, but we know we have to win this clash for our supporters here at home,” went on Masondo.

Masondo, as always, pleaded for support, especially when they are playing at home.

“It’s painful when we don’t get support from our own people at home. We know a lot of people support the big teams such as Pirates, Sundowns and Chiefs, but all we are asking for is that they support us whenever we play against other teams.

We want to appeal to everyone in the province to adopt Aces as their home team and come support us during games at the Mbombela Stadium,” appealed Masondo.

Aces have already made the Mbombela stadium their official home and will play all their home games here. Coach Clive Barker has beefed up his defense by signing the former Hearts of Oaks star, Kwabena Adusei. He will join Aces’ capable central defensive unit of Roger da Costa, Mbulelo Mabizela, Thabang Rooi and Edwin Gyimah.

Kick off is at 19:30.
