Man sentenced to prison for 1075 charges of fraud
The accused was sentenced to 2981 years cumulatively and the court ordered that the sentences will run con-currently, therefore the accused will serve 20 years imprisonment effectively.

A former employee of Leandra Toll Plaza will serve 20 years in prison for bank card skimming after he was sentenced by the Evander Regional Court on Tuesday.
Thabo Simon Ntuli was caught with a skimming device in his possession on September 16, 2016. During that period he was employed at the toll plaza he defrauded people of Leslie, Secunda and Leandra by skimming their bank cards and accessed their funds using skimming devices.
The Provincial Head of Directorate For Priority Crime Investigation Mpumalanga Major General Mokoena commended the investigating Officer for the exceptional job he had accomplished by investigating the case for the past seven years.
“This will serve as a lesson to those who are still involvedd in these type of criminal activities,” said General Mokoena”
