What a win!
To enter, all fans needed to do was renew their Vodacom contracts during the course of the season
MBOMBELA – The life of South African rugby fan, Zenzile Ngoma, was transformed at Vodacom last Thursday when she drove away in her one-of-a-kind Gees-mobile. This marked the finale of Vodacom’s Gees Machine competition for the 2013 Vodacom Super Rugby season.
The competition, which ran for the duration of the 2013 Vodacom Super Rugby season, was sponsored by Vodacom, Opel and Samsung. The competition was aimed at tracking down South Africa’s most dedicated and extrovert Super rugby fans.
To enter, all fans needed to do was renew their Vodacom contracts during the course of the season. As an added incentive, a weekly Mini Gees competition offered prizes courtesy of Samsung to contestants merely for registering for the main competition.
Ngoma, an avid Sharks fan, was the sixth Gees-mobile winner. Her name was drawn from thousands of customers who entered the competition.
She could barely believe her luck as she climbed into her spanking new Opel Astra, which was customised and accessorised in the colours and branding of her favourite team. The car included a braai stand, fridge, DVD player, new rims and a booming sound system, valued in excess of R300 000.
“The sight of the Gees-mobile roaring off into the distance was a great way to bring the curtain down on a remarkable 2013 Vodacom Super Rugby experience,” said Louisa van Beek, Vodacom’s Managing Executive: Mpumalanga.
