The deputy minister of transport, Ms Sindisiwe Chikunga and the MEC public works, roads and transport, Ms Dikeledi Mahlangu will tackle transport issues during a planned Imbizo.

The two stateswomen will join hands to tackle transport issues during a Transport Imbizo to be hosted in the Nkangala District Municipality, tomorrow morning.

All the people of Mpumalanga including transport users are expected to be part of the Transport Imbizo which will be held at the Moloto Social Department offices (open Space). All road users are expected to raise transport issues and make inputs in the successful running of the Transport industry. PUTCO a bus operator in the Nkangala District in Moloto, the South African National Taxi Council (SANTACO), Provincial and District Transport Forums are also expected to be part of the Imbizo. This is part of celebrating the 2013 October Transport Month which is aimed at promoting Transport as catalysts for economic growth.
