Condolences to Madiba’s family still pouring in

"He was also a role model even to us as young people of this country."

MBOMBELA – While the memorial service of our Global icon, Dr Nelson Mandela is

still proceeding today at FNB Stadium in Johannesburg and is also broadcast live

in different stadiums on big screens all over the provinces. including

Mbombela stadium where people from all corners of the Mpumalanga province came in numbers, leaders from other countries are sharing the stage, sending messages

of support to Mandela’s family and citizens of this country. Words of

condolences from citizens of this province are still pouring in to the Mandela

family. Which shows that this country has lost a leader and a father. Mandela was a good role model even to young people of this country and Miss Sundown’s

Mpumalanga Felicia Muwayi had this to say about the icon: “He was a good example to us as young people. There are a lot of things that I personally

learnt from him as he was the father of the nation. He fought for freedom and

human rights. I believe that if we can live through the values of Madiba, this

country can move to another level. Rest in peace Tata, we will always love you,” said Muwayi.
