Education department thanks Imperial Toyota for sponsorship of cars for top learners in the province.

NELSPRUIT – The MEC for the provincial department of education visited Imperial Toyota to personally thank them for their sponsorship.   MEC Ms Reginah Mhaule  addressed the staff and media at Imperial Toyota’s showroom on Friday.

She said the department  was constantly on the field seeking partnerships with business in order to continuously rise the standards and provisioning of education.

“I wish to express my sincere gratitude and appreciation to Imperial Toyota Nelspruit for the remarkable gesture that you have rendered for the past two years.”

She said she still remembered the tears of Ms Mawere whose son was the first recipient. According to Mhaule, he was the first person in their family who had acquired a vehicle.

Mhaule also said she had hoped they had seen the reaction of Ms Bhavika Mistry who received the brand new Toyota Eitos worth R140 000.

She said when they started to partner with the department, the results were at 70 percent in 2012, and in 2013, they went to 77.6 percent.

“How will our children not succeed when there is such abundance of support and motivation?”

She wished the entire team of Imperial Toyota Nelspruit a prosperous 2014 filled with great prospects.

Mhaule ended by stating that the late Nelson Mandela had said “It is all in our hands”.
