Seniors visit local police station

Senior officials visisted a local police station to motivate and stir members towards a revitalised service delivery approach.

ELUKWATINI -The local police station was recently visited by SAPS senior officials from the province on Valentine’s Day.

The team included five major generals and other members of the provincial team, the aim was to motivate the station and stir members towards a revitalised service delivery approach.

According to Const Peace Mbokane, spokesperson for the station the seniors addressed them on a number of issues inlcuding observance of line functions, procurement of resources, expectations of station management as well as issues to deal with solving racial differences and discipline to name a few.
“Like the first drops of a rainfall on dry land , so were the local members revived and capacitated with handy ideas that will make them work with enthusiasm,” said Mbokane.

He added that unity was re-instilled between the station’s management and subordinates. The Station Commander, Col Jeros Thango also expressed his appreciation to the and plead for a contanst visit of similar nature as it would highly improve the image of the station.
