Big prizes await lucky finalists

Karino ran a competition from March 2014, where you entered by simply sending your name via SMA to a designated number. Winners were randomly chosen every month and encouraged to get involved in Karino’s charity projects.

One lucky person will soon be the owner of a brand-new house in a new development just outside Nelspruit.

Karino Lifestyle Estate is a big development that aims to provide housing at affordable prices. They are also working on the Crossing Karino Mall, which will save residents of the estate the trip to town to go shopping.

Karino ran a competition from March 2014, where you entered by simply sending your name via SMA to a designated number. Winners were randomly chosen every month and encouraged to get involved in Karino’s charity projects. These included giving soccer kits to needy children, painting a children’s home and donating toiletries to the kids. By involving the finalists, Karino could give back to the community and show the finalists how they could help uplift their community.

The finalists were asked to take a “selfie” and send in a few lines about themselves. It was revealed that winning a house, or any of the other prizes, would be a life-changing experience for the winners.

The winners of the competition will be announced at Karino on February 22. The first will win a three-bedroom house worth R420 000 and the second a bursary worth R140 000 at Meridian Karino. The latter is a private school that is part of the Curro family and is situated on Karino Lifestyle Estate. A cash prize of R10 000 will also be awarded as a third prize. A further R10 000 cash will be given away in a lucky draw for people that have recently bought houses in the estate. To qualify, you have to have signed the contract before or on the day of the draw and be present at the event.

Everyone is welcome to attend the event on February 22 and support the finalists.
