Alleged water poisoning only a hoax

Dlamini, Mahlobo and Ngomane declared the whole debacle a hoax, which surfaced Sunday morning after the funeral service of the late Henry Dube who had been shot dead by an alleged Somalian.

KANYAMAZANE – The alleged water-poisoning scare was just a hoax which had the entire community in a frenzy this week.

There were various alerts of alleged severe stomach ache and the swelling of private parts as a result of having looted goods from Somali shops.

This was a revealed by a three-man panel comprising Mbombela Local Municipality’s executive mayor, Cllr Cathy Dlamini, cooperative governance and traditional affairs’ head of department and ANC/NEC member Mr David Mahlobo, and Bushbuckridge Water Board’s chairman and ANC regional secretary, Mr Pat Ngomane, during a media briefing on Tuesday afternoon.
