NELSPRUIT – The baby with two heads who was born in Rob Ferreira Hospital on March 14, has died.
Mr Ronnie Masilela, spokesman for the provincial health department, confirmed that the baby passed away on Sunday afternoon.
The baby boy made headlines when it was delivered earlier this month. He was not referred to as a conjoined twin as he had only one spine and one of the heads was “non-responsive”. The mother was deeply shocked by his condition and ordered the department to not divulge any detail about his conditon.
