THEKWANE NORTH – Residents in the area stand to benefit immensely from a water project which is currently taking place in this community.

This comes as the initiative, which is aimed at addressing the water backlog that both the area and other townships are faced with, has employed a number of locals.

Speaking to this publication, the executive mayor of Mbombela Local Municipality, Cllr Cathy Dlamini, indicated that it was part of the Karino Water Scheme, which consisted of three projects which were running concurrently in the area.
