Abuse was never love
Some women have the state of mind that if a guy loves them, he has to beat up and mistreat them as a sign of showing love, township style.

Women and men in South Africa and all over the world are victims of abuse for different reasons, to such an extent that they end up settling for the worst, which may sometimes lead to death.
Some women have the state of mind that if a guy loves them, he has to beat up and mistreat them as a sign of showing love, township style.
They end up feeling like they are not loved and valued when their partners stop abusing them, hence they picture abuse as the right way of demonstrating love.
Meanwhile, some women withstand being abused for one simple reason, that they tend to tell themselves that they have security of a home and have bore children with the man – so how can they live them?
Some women withstand abuse because of their financial state, as well as truly loving the partner.
Women are not the only people victimized by abuse in relationships, yet men are also victims of abuse, worse enough they are ashamed of reporting them since they feel that public will undermine their authority. The public, both women and men, shall bear in mind that abuse is not symbol of love.
How can people who love you abuse you? This is the question you should ask yourselves. Women stand in front of the mirror and see bruises and blue eyes all over their faces, yet inside they will say: “this guy does this because he loves me” forgetting to ask themselves the meaning of true love.
Women have died because of abuse, children are left alone, motherless because of abuse, and abuse took away our leaders, our nurses, our police women, our nation builders. You should just question: why should pain be love?
I would like to advise all mankind to report abuse, and do not stick to a relationship if you are not happy. Sometimes perseverance deceives. Stand up for yourself; do not stand for abuse because you are scared of losing your partner…”when you love someone, you can be able to let them go” raise up your hand and let your voices be heard, let’s join hands in fighting against abuse.
