Eye care specialists keeps its promise of delivering free reading glasses
We now request those who were left behind to come with their registration slips and test results in order to avoid the repeat of the eye tests.
MBOMBELA- The Nelspruit Lions Club in conjunction with the South African National Council for the Blind and the Nelspruit Plaza Super Spar invites those individuals who failed to receive their free reading spectacles on Mandela Day to come to collect them on Friday ( August 21) at car park behind the Nelspruit Plaza Super Spar between 09:00 and 13:00.
Dr Abraham Varghese of the Nelspruit says 1003 patients registered for their eye testing on Mandela Day and due to some technicalities only 698 of them their got the free spectacles, “We now request those who were left behind to come with their registration slips and test results in order to avoid the repeat of the eye tests. If they fail to collect them on Friday they may still get them by contributing a small prize of R100 only,” he said.
