Little Thembeka needs plastic surgery

KABOKWENI – While many children are sending their wish lists to Santa requesting dolls and all sorts of toys, little Thembeka Sibanyoni could do with a very special gift for a kid her age – plastic surgery.
The three-year-old sustained severe burns when her home caught fire last year and since then, life has never been easy for her, according to her mother, Ms Ellinah Sibanyoni.
The unemployed mom stated that Thembeka had been sleeping in the house on the fateful day and suffered burns to her face and arms.
“Up to today, we don’t know what had started the fire that changed our lives in a very nasty way. Indeed life has a way of throwing sour lemons at people who do not deserve misfortune. She’s just a child!” said the frustrated mother.
She added that it’s been costly for her to finance all the hospital trips for treatment, and plastic surgery seems like an impossible dream since she has no money at all.
“I’m appealing to good Samaritans to assist us with hospital costs for the surgery so that my child can have a normal life again. At the age of three, it’s already difficult for her to interact with her peers,” Sibanyoni added.
Anyone who wishes to assist the little girl can contact Ellinah Sibanyoni on 073-032-7809.
