DAYIZENZA – Local police are investigating an ATM bombing case that occurred at Dayizenza shopping mall on Monday night.

According to the police, a loud noise was heard by community members who alerted the police.

Upon arrival the police established that a Standard Bank ATM had been blasted and the suspects had fled.

“Fortunately no money was stolen because the criminals had no time to steal since the police had acted swiftly,” said Const Naniki Nonyane.

She further made a call for any information that may lead to apprehending the suspects to be brought forward at Masoyi police station.
