
KANYAMAZANE – Nothing beats the excitement of an 18-year-old boy who had the chance to vote for the very first time.
This publication spoke to a born-free, a first-time voter, Sebastian Mkhatshwa of Kanyamazane whose excitement was written all over his face, he could not wait to cast his vote at the community hall.
The teenage boy said: “I am very happy to have turned 18 years before the elections.
I have been waiting for this day since March after my birthday,” he said.

He further explained that what makes him even happier, is that he is regarded as an adult, as he is now allowed to sign documents by himself. He does not need a parent or guardian any more to sign documents on his behalf. See voting gallery: Voters came in numbers to voting polls
