9 year old girl raped by classmate

MASOYI – A nine-year-old learner from Mgaduzweni primary school was left traumatised yesterday after she was raped by his classmate in a nearby dam.

Mpumalanga News learnt that the child was bathing with her classmates in the dam when one of them dragged her into nearby bushes and started raping her. She was rescued by a woman who lives nearby who said a strange noise coming from the bushes.

The spokesperson of the local police station Const Naniki Nonyane said confirmed the incident. “There is no case that has been opened since both are minors, but upon our investigation, it was discovered that indeed the girl was raped and doctors confirmed that she was pregnant.
