WATCH: Deputy Minister Mduduzi Manana assaults woman at nightclub
The Deputy Minister of Higher Education and Training is said to have assaulted the women over a debate about the ANC leadership race. However, on social media, reports have emerged that he allegedly hit the women because one of them called him gay.
A video clip of the incident has been trending since this morning on social media.
It is alleged that Manana lost his cool following a heated debate on who should succeed President Jacob Zuma. A case of assault has been opened against him by the victim, Mandisa Duma.
A sound clip was also posted where Manana admits slapping Mandisa to her brother, Phesheya.
