Police searching for two suspects who are terrorising the community

The armed suspects are targeting people who are using earlier buses at the crack of dawn

KANYAMAZANE – Police are searching for two armed suspects who are terrorising the community at the crack of dawn.

According to the spokesperson of the Pienaar Cluster, Capt Jabu Ndubane it is alleged that the pair is roaming around the streets targeting people who are using earlier buses to the city and demand their valuable items.

“The suspects attacked a certain man who was going to work, they demanded his cell phone and money. People are urged to walk in groups and avoid using quite places. We suspect that the suspects might be also linked to an incident of hijacking that occurred on Wednesday near Vulamasango primary school where a driver was attacked by two armed man. But we have managed to find the vehicles,” said Ndubane.

She added that apart from ensuring that they capture the suspects, they have increased police visibility in the township.
