MTPA increases its tariffs for maintenance purposes

All tariffs will be adjusted by a small margin and continue to be charged in South African rand.

The Mpumalanga Tourism and Parks Agency (MTPA) will with effect from November 1 implement an increase in its tariffs (including the entry and accommodation fees) at its various nature reserves around the province.
This increase will go a long way in addressing some of the infrastructure maintenance challenges experienced over a period of time.
“Our intention is to improve our facilities and the viewpoints at all our main nature reserves in order to provide visitors with the best possible experience,” says MTPA.

The MTPA is committed to ensuring that all visitors enjoy a comfortable, safe and unforgettable experience in their facilities, hence the need to review the tariffs in order to ensure proper maintenance and upkeep of the nature reserves.
These tariffs will be reviewed annually, guided generally by inflationary pressures and we will continue to inform the public of these changes.
