35 year old man arrested for Million Rand worth dagga

A 35-year-old man was arrested at Matsamo Border in connection with a massive amount of drugs found stashed in the truck he was driving.

The suspect was coming from Swaziland, transporting sawdust when he was stopped by the police for a routine search.

Law enforcement discovered 22 bags filled with compressed dagga worth an estimated street value of 600 000.

The suspect will appear in the Boschfontein Periodical Court today on a charge of dealing in dagga.
