Unconfirmed reports of a leopard around Matsulu

According to one resident, who spoke to Ligwalagwala FM's Current Affairs said he saw the leopard yesterday near a river in that area.

Residents of Matsulu village and surroundings are warned to be cautious of a leopard which is believed to have escaped at the Kruger National Park.

However, the Mpumalanga Tourism and Parks Agency (MTPA) in the province cannot confirm the matter. Ms Kholofelo Nkambule, a communications officer at the MTPA said anyone with this information must come out and report to the police. “If they see the leopard, they must call these numbers 083 626 679 2 or just report to the nearest police,” she said.
