Security officers on strike at local clinic

They are sick and tired of empty promises

VALENCIA -Security guards from SMD who are placed at the local clinic embarked in an unprotected strike action since this morning.
They told this newspaper that they are fed up of waiting for almost three weeks to receive their salaries.

One of the security guards who requested not to reveal his identity said “We were supposed to get paid on March,15, 2017, but it never happened because the owner of the company kept on making empty promises. It’s not the first time we experienced this problem. Some of the patients at the clinic indicated that they felt that their safety has been compromised since there is no one manning the entrance gate.”
