The crash happened on the D2296 road between Kamagugu and Karino near Mbombela. Two of the deceased include drivers from both vehicles and a passenger from the Sedan.

“Five seriously injured people were rushed to Rob Ferreira Hospital for medical attention,” said Joseph Mabuza spokesperson for Department of Community Safety Security and Liaison.
He adds that this accident had increased the number of people who died in major crashes on the roads of the province to 14.
