UPDATE : Msholozi councillor, co-accused released on bail

They were arrested allegedly forming part of a group of community members who torched Mama Esther's Safe Haven.

Cllr Kenneth Mkhonto and his four co-accused have been released on R500 bail. They appeared at the Nelspruit Magistrate’s Court today.

They first appeared in the same court on March 14. They are facing charges of arson and public violence.

Their bail application was postponed from Thursday to Friday.

The five arrested suspects are Vusi Mamba(39), Mfundo Mlimi (28), Sipho Ngutshane(26), Lucky Sithole(40) and Kenneth Mkhonto (43).
