#ANC107: African National Congress turns 107 years today
The party launched the People's Manifesto at eThekwini and will celebrate their anniversary this weekend.
The African National Congress turns 107 years today since its formation in 1912. The party launched the People’s Manifesto at eThekwini and will celebrate their anniversary this weekend at Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban. Party president Cyril Ramaphosa launched the People’s Manifesto along with the party’s top six.
The day started with a church service at the Central Methodist Church in Durban to bless the occasion. Meanwhile, other top leaders were interacting with community members in various areas. Deputy secretary Jessie Duarte handed over title deeds to some families in Ward 3, Highview Park. Women’s League president Bathabile Dlamini was accompanied by MEC of Health Dr Sibongiseni Dhlomo at Addington hospital to welcome babies born on the same day as the ANC.
