Grade 1 learner raped in school toilet

MATSULU – A six-year-old was allegedly raped by an 11-year-old learner at Sukumani Primary School on February 1.

A case of rape was opened at the local police station after the alleged victim told her mother about the incident when she returned from school. According to the mother, the incident happened more than once but the police’s spokesperson, Sergeant Nkomozakhe Khumalo said investigations are underway.
