The 39-year-old woman who stabs 27-year-old lover to death granted a bail
Nkosi is 12 years older than Mavimbela. The live-in partners were residing at Nkosi’s family home.

LOW’S CREEK – The woman who killed her stay-in boyfriend over an argument over R50 was granted bail of R1 000.
Amanda Nkosi (39) appeared before the Low’s Creek Periodical Court on Thursday for a formal bail application.

Her case was postponed to May 9.
Nkosi is accused of killing Nkosingiphile Mavimbela (27) after she stabbed him in the chest. Emergency Medical Services personnel certified him dead on the scene.
The incident happened on Sunday.
Police said the fight ensued after Mavimbela returned from a tavern and demanded R50 from Nkosi.
When Nkosi refused to give it to him, a fight ensued.
Nkosi then allegedly stabbed him in the chest
