Motorists received plants as Spring Day presents from MTPA
The event marks the agency’s list of activities to celebrate tourism month during September.
Motorists were showered with green plants along the R40 between Riverside Mall and the City of Mbombela this morning to welcome Spring.
“We had about 500 plants which were handed out to motorists near Mafunyane Water Park traffic lights this morning to welcome Spring season and to celebrate tourism month,” said Kholofelo Nkambule, spokesperson for Mpumalanga Tourism and Parks Agency (MTPA).

The event marks the agency’s list of activities to celebrate tourism month during September.
This will be followed by the Charity Golf Day on Septemebr 4, Ray Phiri’s memorial lecture on September 5 and the Lilizela Tourism Awards on September 6.
MTPA launched Tourism Month on August 27 at Manyeleti Nature Reserve.
