Local Mozambican nationals take to the voting polls

It was a heated campaign between the ruling party Frelimo and arch-rival Renamo. According to the Consulate of Mozambique, Euginio Langa results will be announced within the next 15 days .

MATAFFIN- Mozambican nationals who reside in Mbombela and surrounding areas made their mark for the Mozambique general elections yesterday.

Mathew Sithole

I’ve voted for change and to strengthen the country’s democracy since I left home in 2006. I also want better relations between Mozambique and South Africa in order for both economies to grow.

These elections must bring about economic change. As the youth, we want employment opportunities and I hope that the new government focuses of job creation for our people.

Samuel Khoza 

My wish is for the new government that will govern to alleviate poverty. This can be done through empowerment of small businesses and that can be able to employ our people and impart skills.
