Meanwhile, a 28-year-old man appeared in the Bushbuckridge Magistrate’s Court on Monday and was remanded in custody after being arrested on Friday October 8 on a charge of business robbery at a certain hardware store.
It is said that a security guard employed at the hardware was on duty on the day in question when he was accosted by a group of suspects who held him hostage and tied his hands up with wire.
The suspects allegedly helped themselves to some items, including window frames, a gate, some door frames as well as a fence that they had reportedly cut to gain entry to the premises.
