Shisaboy features Lady Mo on new single

The duo's groovy song is already making waves on TikTok.

There’s really no stopping Shisaboy. This award-winning kwaito and house music sensation has just teamed up with Lady Mo, and together they are cooking quite a storm in the studio.

The two trending artists are working on a song titled “Dlala ngefiga”, which is already making waves on TikTok. The kwaito, house and amapiano sensation is living up to his promise he made shortly after he left big record labels to start his own.

At the time he said he wanted to all his resources to uplift musicians in his home province, Mpumalanga. And he has been doing exactly that. The industry witnessed the birth of the Mpumalanga-based musicians such as Mesiah, Smangori, Nathi and Nadia, and now Lady Mo.

“After leaving major labels, I made a promise to my fans that I would return to Pienaar and launch my own record label, and this is how Shisa Tainment was born. I did this because I understood the struggles artists from Mpumalanga had to go through if they wanted to make it into the music industry,” said Shisaboy.

“I am keeping my pledge to assist these local upcoming artists to make it in this harsh industry. My only desire is that all of the undiscovered talent be discovered and elevated to stardom.”

Shisaboy went on to remark that he wanted nothing more than to see Mpumalanga music develop similarly to that of other provinces. “But above all, I would like to see a situation where our musicians support one another and for our own provincial government to recognise and support local musicians, just like is happening in other provinces,” pointed out Shisaboy.

Besides, releasing a new song with Lady Mo, Shisaboy is also working on a brand-new album, and is hoping to include well-known musicians like DJ Tira, Duncan, DJ Myzo, Mapara a Jazz, and many others. He said in order to give emerging artists exposure, he will also include them in his new craft.

Shisaboy pleaded with the people of Mpumalanga to continue supporting him by submitting their votes for him to win the best kwaito album award in the Sama28.

To vote people must visit the Sama28 Facebook page and mention @Shisaboy #BestKwaitoAlbum as many times as they can.
