Sinani hosts an art retreat for youngsters in White River

At this creative art camp, these young people got the opportunity to learn new things and be creative.

A three-day musical extravaganza unfolded during the recent first-of-its-kind Sinani Arts Retreat held at the Waterberry Estate.

Hannah Mohajer, Sinani’s arts director, said 12 young people from four communities gathered to live out their passion of the arts.

“Representatives from our choirs, marimba bands and gumboot dancers took part in a range of arts-related activities. These include drama therapy and an art history class, while rehearsing for our upcoming arts showcase scheduled to take place at Church Unlimited Mbombela later this year.”
The day had exciting items planned for the young people.
