Mamelodi Sundowns snatch late win over TS Galaxy at Mbombela Stadium
Sphelele Mkhulise scored twice in five minutes to crush the home side, on a night when Kruger United made Betway Premiership history.
TS Galaxy were left heartbroken at Mbombela Stadium after suffering a dramatic 3-2 defeat against Mamelodi Sundowns in a thrilling Betway Premiership clash on Tuesday night, August 12.
Galaxy looked destined for victory after putting in a strong performance, but a stunning late comeback from the visitors turned the match on its head.

Sundowns opened the scoring through Brayan León from the penalty spot, but Galaxy responded brilliantly as Victor Letsoalo levelled matters in the 33rd minute.
Letsoalo then struck again in the 77th minute, sending the home supporters into celebration as Galaxy moved into a commanding position.
But Sundowns refused to surrender as substitute Sphelele Mkhulise became the hero of the night, scoring in the 89th minute to bring the visitors level before producing another moment of magic deep into stoppage time.
His 94th-minute winner stunned Galaxy and snatched all three points away from the home side.
The Rockets now shift their focus to Golden Arrows on Sunday, August 16, at Mbombela Stadium.
While Galaxy endured late heartbreak, newly promoted Kruger United had reason to celebrate after securing their first-ever Betway Premiership point.
Kruger United held Marumo Gallants to a hard-fought 0-0 draw at Royal Bafokeng Stadium, bouncing back strongly after their opening-weekend 3-1 defeat to Kaizer Chiefs.

For Kruger United, the result marks an important milestone as they continue their first-ever campaign in South Africa’s top flight.
With one point now in the bag, the Mpumalanga outfit will hope the result provides the confidence needed to build momentum in the Betway Premiership when they travel to Sugar Ray Xulu Stadium in KwaZulu-Natal to face newly promoted Milford FC on Saturday, August 15.
