The NLM’s spokesperson, Cyril Ripinga, said this is a huge loss to the municipality as Ngwenya was a dedicated member of council. “We are heartbroken and at a loss for words. Ngwenya was a fearless and dedicated young man. He was sober-minded and very good at his job. His death has shocked us all, and we are in disbelief. All the councillors will visit his family today to pay homage and remind the family that they are not alone in this time of need; that we are with them, equally disheartened.”
