Unidentified woman collapses and dies at Nelspruit Plaza

The deceased has not yet been identified.

An unknown woman collapsed and died on Friday, July 11, at Nelspruit Plaza.

The incident occurred as she was exiting a food outlet in the shopping centre.

According to Martin Jeffrey of Emer-G-Med, paramedics received a call regarding a woman who had collapsed. Upon their arrival, they immediately attempted to resuscitate her, but their efforts were unsuccessful. “She was declared dead at the scene,” Jeffrey said.

Authorities were called to the scene following the declaration of death, with police and pathology services attending to remove the body.

The cause of death remains unknown. The woman has not yet been identified, and, therefore, her next of kin have not been located.

The Mpumalanga police spokesperson, Brigadier Donald Mdhluli, said they aware of the incident and more details will be shared in due course.
