Queens extend their winning streak at KaBokweni Stadium

TS Galaxy Queens claim three log points.

TS Galaxy Queens secured a 1-0 victory against JVW in the Hollywoodbet Super League at KaBokweni Stadium on Sunday, August 24.

In this game that tested skills, the Queens’ attack was noticeable from the moment the referee blew the whistle to start the game. Meanwhile, the JVW defence remained solid to make sure that they did not concede in the first opening minutes of the game.

With the Queens dominating the first 45 minutes, it was evident that they wanted to register a victory at the end of 90 minutes and keep their winning record at home. The Queens players created a number of opportunities but none hit the net of JVW.

Before the first half could come to an end, the visitors created scoring chances that were as well denied by the Queens between the 38th and 45th minute.

The halftime score was 0-0. In the second half, JVW continued with their efforts to create scoring opportunities after introducing fresh legs, but the Queens’ defence remained solid at the back.

JVW were hardly given an opportunity to enter the 18-yard area of the Queens. Leandra Smeda of the Queens scored the only goal of the match to seal the win against JVW. The game ended 1-0.
