Mr Teen Mpumalanga crowned at Lowveld National Botanical Garden
A 17-year-old wants to use the Mr Teen Mpumalanga platform to empower other young men.
Mr Teen Mpumalanga 2025 was crowned at the Lowveld National Botanical Garden on Saturday, October 4.
According to 17-year-old Junior Mungwambe, from Matsafeni, winning this title is a dream come true.
He plans to use this platform to empower other young people through skills development programmes. “I want to use my voice, skills and actions to help this generation to thrive, especially boys,” he said.
Junior said that, while he aspires to become a chartered accountant, he also would love to continue to pursue modelling.
The pageant is organised as an annual fundraiser by Teach a Boy Child (TABC). The founder TABC, Siya Mokoena, said it is a platform for young men from the age of 16. The organisation also runs early childhood development programmes.
“The winner will become an ambassador for the TABC organisation. We have 12 entries and only seven made it to the finalists,” said Mokoena.
