Cyril Clarke School shows Class of 1991 soccer skills
Each year, the Class of 1991 visits different provinces to make a meaningful impact.
Members of the SAPS Class of 1991, who call themselves the Foxies, visited Cyril Clarke Secondary School on Friday, October 24, as part of their annual outreach initiatives.

On the soccer field, the learners dominated, defeating the veterans 2-0. Both goals came in the first half, leaving the Class of 1991 with no opportunity to score.

The netball match, however, told a different story, with the Class of 1991 emerging victorious. The final score was not recorded, as the school said they could not keep an accurate record of the score.
Sonia Mokgothu, a member of the Foxies, said the group aims to make a difference within communities through sports initiatives and donations. Every October, they select a school in South Africa to visit and organise various activities.
“We collaborate with a social crime prevention officer in each province, who advises us on which school to visit and what to donate,”

Mokgothu explained. This year, they learned that Cyril Clarke learners would be attending study camps, so the group brought toiletries to support them.
