In the first few minutes of the game, the host held dominance on the field. Despite this, strong defence from their opponents meant they were unable to score a goal in the first half. The visitors only had one shot at the target. By half-time the score was 0-0.

The Warriors came into the second half with guns blazing, scoring a goal shortly after the whistle.

The Rangers had an opportunity to level matters after 10 minutes of concerted effort, but were let down by poor follow-through.
