 Barberton Mines donates soccer kits to Unity Football Club

Unity Football Club received new kits and training equipment to support the team during practice sessions and match days.

Unity Football Club received new soccer kits and training equipment from Barberton Mines during a handover at Ngwane Sports Ground on May 21. The donation included branded match kits featuring the club’s logo, as well as training equipment aimed at supporting the team during practice sessions and match days.

Unity Football Club, based in Barberton Ext 1, was established in 2023 and currently has 22 players. The club was formed to help steer young people away from substance abuse and other negative influences while promoting discipline, education, and sports development.

Coach Sandile Fakude expressed gratitude to Barberton Mines for the support, saying the donation would help boost the team’s morale and performance.
“This contribution will go a long way in assisting our team. It will allow the players to feel confident on match days and perform to the best of their ability,” said Fakude.
