Barberton Mines marks Heritage Day with cultural showcase

Best-dressed staff receive vouchers as employees display traditional attire, song and dance.

Barberton Mines’ management committee and employees from across operations gathered on September 22 to celebrate Heritage Month.

Employees proudly displayed their cultures through traditional attire, singing, group dancing and food. The celebration provided an opportunity for employees to share their heritage and appreciate the different cultures represented across Barberton Mines.

Best-dressed employees win vouchers

Barberton Mines spokesperson Soya Magida said the top three best-dressed employees received vouchers valued at R1 000, R750 and R500.

Magida said Barberton Mines would like to thank all employees and departments who participated and contributed to the success of the celebration.
