Dissatisfied with SARS treatment
SARS needs to serve all South Africans with integrity, honestly and ensuring superior quality service to all.

I am very disappointed and dissatisfied with SARS’ treatment of civil servants and widowers.
SARS needs to serve all South Africans with integrity, honestly and ensuring superior quality service to all. It should uphold these values, but we don’t get fair treatment and are taxed hefty amounts per annum.
This leaves us vulnerable. This affects our health and we are now on chronic treatment. If we die, who will take care of our children because they rely on us, the only surviving parent?
We need to provide for their better education and to feed them. How will this be possible if SARS is crippling us?
We cannot pay our debts. Do we need to go to loan sharks who take advanatage of our situations? Is it our punishment to be married to other civil servants?
We have to share what we earn which is from R3 000 to R4 000 from GPF with SARS by 50 per cent. On top of that when we submit our annual tax returns, we don’t get rebates.
We had a futile attempt with our lawyers to get comprehensive response in this regard. As a result, we need SARS to resolve this as we don’t know by which criteria we are being taxed.
It is our urgent plea to get government to look into this matter and SARS to respond. Any assistance can be forwarded to my cell number on 079-813-6613 after hours from 19:00-20:00.
