Lira about to make Riverside Mall feel good with her voice

Songbird Lira's performance is highly anticipated in Nelspruit.

The 2010 South African Music Awards (Sama) female artist of the year, Lira is set to make her fans feel good with her performance at Riverside Mall parking.

Organised by the Sibusisiwe Foundation, the songstress with a velvet voice, will share the stage with the new kids on the block, the Elements of Sound, Moneoa, Afro’traction and Ligwalagwala FM’s rapidly growing DJ Shabbisto, on October 5.

This multiplatinum selling and eight-times Sama-winning Afro-soul vocalist who refers to her music as
“a fusion of soul, funk, elements of jazz and Africa”, will be performing here for a noble cause. “This is certainly going to be a night to remember.

You know, whenever Lira is on stage she never wants to get off. She always gives her best and she is coming here to do exactly that. She is however not going to be our only act as we have a tight line-up, said Sibusiso Sithole, founder of the Sibusiswe Foundation.

He said the event will also be graced by the presence of SABC 1’s Generations actor, Xolisa Xaluva (Jason) and Tshepo Maseko (Parsons) of Isidingo. “This is not just a festival.

We are trying to raise funds for the foundation to continue helping the destitute. All the proceeds will go towards this noble cause,” explained Sithole.

He said tickets are selling at all Computicket outlets. Tickets prices range between R190 and R600 for VIPs.
