Local talent to rub shoulders with seasoned songstress

Two local talented Afro-Jazz artists, Stix and Futhi will share the stage with multi-award winning songbird, Lira when she performs live at the Riverside Mall next Saturday, October 05.
The duo who through the Sibusisiwe Foundation released their debut album, under the banner of Elements of sound, will be making their second ever public appearance and promise nothing but solid sounds of music.
This one night only with Lira, DJ Shabba, Moneoa and Afro Traction will also serve as the official launch of the Elements of sound, (The 1st offering), which is led by Stix and Futhi.
“I can’t wait to rub shoulders and perform at the same stage where Lira and other local known artists will be playing at.
This is a dream coming true for every artist and I hope to learn a thing or two from Lira and other artists billed to play on this night,” said Futhi.
As for Stix, performing live on stage has always been his dream and has never thought it would come this soon.
“I have always dreamt of performing live on stage, but I never thought it would come so soon. But I am glad that this chance has come my way and I am going to give my level best.
Sharing a stage with an internationally acclaimed artist such as Lira is a dream coming true,” said Stix.
Tickets for this gig are already selling at all Computicket outlets and prices range between R190 and R600 for VIPs.
