Nela fashion range for plus sized women launched

Emalahleni came to a standstill this past weekend when Yonela Makhoba launched her Nela clothing brand at the Rhaposdy’s Restaurant Ben fleur.

The fashionista showcased her unique collection, showing superb talent pool and unique creative style that fuses hand-craft fabrics, hand-painted techniques, Nigerian / African influenced fabrics .

This high end event for an exclusive audience brought together supporters, clients, fashionistas, media houses and performance from top celebrities.

It spotlighted the finest in up and coming local makeup artists, hair stylists and striking plus size runway models.

The duo surely did a splendid job by keeping the audience in stiches, even during the load shedding phase that almost derailed the event that did not stop them from delivering an elegant night.

On the entertainment list were the best in the music industry, Choppa of the Magarida fame, upcoming Mpumalanga artist Cash flow, Loulo Zino of Mozambique origin with his hiphop passada influenced music.

DJ Bennito of SABC 1 Kuzekuse featuring Thandazile kept the guests dancing all night.

Also in attendance were Shirley Mnisi of the FRD clothing brand and Nompumelo of the Fabuleux Magazine and many more socialites representing different media houses.

“The concept of this exciting event created a posh environment of enjoying a top-of-the-line runway plus size show and an opportunity to place orders and purchase garment at the buyers lounge whilst interacting with the designer.

A luxurious evening in Witbanks finest Restaurant overlooking Emalahleni’s Mountain View immersed in the latest and most sought after fashion designs all while sipping a delectable glass of champagne was created,” said Ms Thelma Wopula of Siya Events and Communications.
