Chief Executive Officer for South African Music Awards, Mr Refiloe Ramogase says that he is extremely satisfied with this year's ceremony which was held two weeks ago at the Durban ICC.
Chief Executive Officer for South African Music Awards, Mr Refiloe Ramogase says that he is extremely satisfied with this year’s ceremony which was held two weeks ago at the Durban ICC.
According to Ramogase, everything from the red carpet to the stage was on point.
His highlights for the night were everything that happened during the glittering occasion.
“The whole show was a highlight on its own. The performances and all the presenters did not disappoint and I’m confident that this year was better than last year,” says Ramogase.
He went on to say that the viewership was 50 per cent better than last year and that the attendance was impressive.
Responding to the criticism from a number of Twitter users he said,
” Of course there’s always room for improvement but I can assure you that the feedback we got from Twitter is that 90 percent of tweets with #SAMA22 gave us positive feedback and I’m happy.
The criticism will be used to improve next year’s event,” he adds.
The CEO says a decision pertaining the venue for next year’s SAMAs is yet to be made made.
