Soweto Gospel Choir on Idols SA this Sunday
Stop everything! Grammy award-winning super choir, Soweto Gospel Choir, is all set for what looks to be a memorable performance on the Idols SA live stage, this Sunday.
With this week’s theme being ‘Choir Inspirational’ and ‘Old Made New’, it was only right that the show taps the best in the biz, for the Top 5 Reveal.
The choir, which has recorded and performed with some of the world’s greatest musicians including Bono and U2, Queen, Aretha Franklin, Stevie Wonder, Celine Dion, Jennifer Hudson, Diana Ross, Johnny Clegg and Angelique Kidjo, is set to join our talent for a night of undiluted entertainment and nail-biting Eliminations.
The choir’s concert repertoire, which includes a mix of African gospel, South African traditional and international classics, peppered with much dancing and drumming, is sure to go down a treat.
