WATCH: N12 blocked off by trucks at R42, Delmas

Several truck drivers have been stopped since 14:00 today on the N12.

This is according to Capt Carla Hartley, spokesperson for the Delmas Police.

The truck drivers are demanding to see Transport Minister Fikile Mbalula over their unhappiness about foreign drivers working in the country.

The N12 at the R42 off-ramp, as well as the R42 bridge towards Bronkhorstspruit and Delmas, are completely blocked by trucks. According to truck owners, their drivers were stopped.

Delmas Police are monitoring the situation.

Motorists are advised to use alternative routes.
